Multiple organizations, individuals and businesses are working to solve the rehearsal space crisis in the Bay Area, including several who are looking to purchase or lease a new building. And money is being raised toward this singular cause from many sources. But who will decide the eventual solutions? We feel that it is important that the music community have a say in how this new studio is developed. Does the building have to be located in San Francisco? Should it hold monthly lock-out spaces only or should there be room for hourly rentals? In addition to offering it on the web, we're deploying this comprehensive survey across the Bay Area in venues, music stores, and existing rehearsal studios.
